Education In Arts?? Does It Matter?
The Answer Is A Resounding, “YES!”
The performing arts can make us feel: exhilarated, nostalgic, entertained, joyous, etc. But they can also help us succeed, as students, professionals, and citizens of the world.
KAPS of RCLT focuses on theater education for the youth of Roswell, NM. Helping students find their passions at an early age and guiding them further along to drive that passion is at the Heart of Our Mission!
Studies show that students who are involved in regular artistic instruction are
- 3 times more likely to win an award for school attendance
- 4 times more likely to be recognized for academic achievement
- less likely to drop out of school
- more than twice as likely to graduate college
You can read more about these and other statistics in the facts & figures booklet put out by American’s for the Arts.
