12 angry pigs and crisis inc, kaps plays

Description

12 Angry Pigs

A One-Act Play by Wadw Bradford

Directed by Lynetta Zuber

Produced by special arrangement with Eldridge Publishing Company.

Presented by KAPS of RCLT

In this comical yet surprisingly educational parody of “12 Angry Men,” a certain wolf is on trial for blowing down a pair of houses owned by the Three Little Pigs. A Jury of Swine must now decide if they will oink in favor of conviction, or declare the wolf not guilty. Throughout the deliberation, most of the angry pigs believe the wolf is big and bad. However, an ensemble of story book characters helps the pigs review the testimony, and Pig #8 asks some tough questions. Questions that will make the rest of the pigs realize that the witness testimony of Little Boy Blue is nothing but hogwash!

Crisis Inc.

A short romantic farce by Daniel Munson

Directed by Alethea Hartwell

Produced by special arrangement with Eldridge Publishing Company.

Start worrying! No wait—don’t worry. Let Crisis, Inc. worry for you. This farce takes place in the lobby of a business which provides the service of panicking for people. When you have a panic situation and you can’t focus on what to do next, you hire Crisis Inc. to do the panicking so you can move along and get your work done. Two business people come to the company’s office – and each of them responsible for the other’s crisis situation. Realizing the potential for fireworks should the two meet, the receptionist tries hard to keep them apart. Classic farce devices, such as multiple door slams, quick entrances and exits, and high energy from the employees who panic on cue, keep the humor rolling.

Both plays are performing on June 10 & 11 at 7:00pm
