Alethea wears many ‘hats’ including homeschool mom, wife, teacher, and she is active in many community roles. She has been involved in theatre since the 5th grade. Her favorite roles include: Aunt Abby in “Arsenic and Old Lace,” Naomi in “Evening of Culture,” and the Wicked Witch in “The Wizard of Oz.” Her previous directorships include: “Wait Until Dark,” “Pirates,” “The Beams Are Creaking,” “Sherlock Holmes: The Final Adventure,” “Southern Fried Funeral” and “39 Steps.” Alethea enjoys directing! She says, “There’s always a challenge whether it is the set design, light design, or complicated scene changes. The challenge is what makes the whole process worthwhile and enjoyable!" She is also the current President of RCLT.
